Chapada Diamantina National Park
The Chapada Diamantina National Park is a protected mountainous region in the state of Bahia, Brazil, covering approximately 41,751 square kilometers. Located about 400 kilometers from Salvador, the park is renowned for its lush vegetation, including diverse orchid species and evergreen plants. It is home to caves, valleys, springs, and awe-inspiring waterfalls, some reaching heights of up to 422 meters. On sunny days, the mist from these waterfalls creates dazzling rainbows, further enhancing the park’s scenic beauty.
