Carnival

Oktoberfest
Oktoberfest is a major traditional German cultural event and one of the largest celebrations in Brazil, held over 17 days each October. Influenced by German culture brought by immigrants, Brazil hosts numerous festivities during this month, making it the second-largest Oktoberfest celebration in the world, after Germany.
The event features traditional German cuisine, including a variety of beers, alongside traditional dances and fireworks, creating a joyous and vibrant atmosphere for visitors. The state of Santa Catarina is a popular destination for both domestic and international tourists, particularly those from Germany, who come to experience this lively celebration.
Natal Luz Festival
The Natal Luz Festival is one of Brazil’s most significant annual celebrations. Held in the city of Gramado from late October to mid-January, it transforms the city into a beacon of joy and festive spirit. During this period, Gramado exudes an unparalleled sense of happiness, with its streets adorned with dazzling Christmas lights and decorations.
In addition to the enchanting illuminations and festive displays, the city hosts numerous concerts and shows, further enhancing its appeal as one of Brazil’s most captivating destinations.
