Foz do Iguaçu

Iguazu Falls
The Iguazu Falls, a natural wonder of the world, are located in the Brazilian state of Paraná, on the border with Argentina and Paraguay. Renowned as the largest waterfalls in the world by water volume per second, the falls consist of 275 cascades spanning the Iguazu River. The highest cascade rises 82 meters, and the falls collectively stretch an impressive 2,700 meters in width—about three times wider than Niagara Falls.
Year-round, the Iguazu Falls offer awe-inspiring views from both the Brazilian and Argentine sides. Visitors can explore them by boat or helicopter. In 2011, the falls were recognized as one of the New Seven Natural Wonders of the World.
Itaipu Dam
Straddling the Paraná River between Brazil and Paraguay, the Itaipu Dam is the longest dam in the world and ranks second in hydropower production globally. In 1994, the American Society of Civil Engineers named it one of the Seven Wonders of the Modern World, highlighting its monumental significance.
Bird Park
Bird Park is a privately owned zoological facility located next to Iguazu National Park. Established in 1994, the park houses an impressive collection of over 1,020 birds, representing approximately 150 distinct species. Nestled amidst lush rainforests, the park covers an area of about 5.16 hectares and serves as a sanctuary for endangered avian species.
