Natural pools

The natural pools in Brazil are a major tourist attraction, particularly along the northeastern coast. These pools are formed when ocean water recedes, creating shallow areas that are often accessible up to a kilometer from the shore. The most famous beaches with natural pools are found in cities such as Salvador, Recife, Natal, Fortaleza, and Maceió, the latter being named the most beautiful beach in South America in 2017.
